Who I am . . .
Before
launching Artemis Biomedical Communications
LLC in 2005, Allison Krug, MPH, served as preventive
health program manager at Kaiser Permanente
and public sector sales manager with the
Merck Vaccine Division. She earned her
undergraduate degree in Biology from the Univ. of Virginia
with a minor in
International Relations from the Univ. of
Copenhagen, Denmark.
Ms. Krug earned her Masters in Public Health with
concentrations in Epidemiology and Health Economics from the
Univ. at Albany (SUNY) School of Public Health. She also holds an
advanced certificate in Scientific &
Technical Writing from San Diego State
University.
Research
interests include
infectious disease epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, maternal and child health,
pediatric obesity, reproductive endocrinology, and health literacy.
Consulting services also include web and logo design.
Allison's husband,
David, is an officer in the US Navy and their frequent moves have
taken them to five states during as many
years. They currently reside in Hawai'i with their young sons, Sam
and Ben. Allison and the boys have run more than
3000 miles together and
placed in several 10K races. She also enjoys
hiking, classical music, baking artisan bread, and
watercolor paint
