What I do . . .
Think about the rigor you
apply to every aspect of study design and
analysis, finally culminating in successful
publication. You labor over your grant for
months, coming up for air only to eat or
teach. I bring the same intensity to
how you communicate your findings. Don't
worry about getting your thoughts exactly
right¾get the key points down and I can
manage the rest. If you haven't worked with
an editor before you may wonder how I do
that.
Medical research
communication follows a fairly standard
formula,
whether it's a manuscript, grant,
scientific poster or slide kit. My
background is in science and health¾I
speak the language and understand your
audience. In fact, fresh out of grad school
I was lead investigator and author for a
published study. I'll treat your work as if
it's my own.
Your
research is worth it.
I am writing in first person because
that is my busines model - a
boutique-style, full-service
scientific communications
consultancy. My
clients have come to me entirely
by referral, and many of them are
friends and mentors. I do not
subcontract any work, however large
or small the project. Your research
is worth putting its best foot
forward.
